Plot

Idealistic lawyer Anton Adam gains fame after taking down influential political boss Gilmurry in New York City. His newfound success catches the eye of the powerful attorney Granville Bentley, who offers him a partnership. However, Adam’s ascent is abruptly halted when he becomes the target of a conspiracy orchestrated by corrupt Dr. Gresham and a seductive actress, who falsely accuse him of breach of promise. Amidst the turmoil, only his devoted secretary Olga remains steadfast, harboring unreciprocated feelings for him as he fights to reclaim his reputation.
