Plot

Cynical narcoleptic Wyatt dreams of becoming a journalist while residing in a rundown apartment. His plans take an unexpected turn when he becomes intrigued by Fern, a mysterious girl with a troubled past who drives an old Toyota Tercel. After receiving a puzzling letter from a stranger named Dr. Green, Fern learns that her long-lost father may be alive in Los Angeles. Determined to find him, she enlists Wyatt's help. As they navigate the city's forgotten corners in search of her father, an undeniable romantic tension blossoms between them.
