Plot

Philippe Mora, an artist and filmmaker known for works like Mad Dog Morgan and The Howling II, embarks on a journey to create a graphic novel honoring his late father, Georges. A cherished figure in Melbourne's art scene and owner of iconic bohemian spots like Mirka Café and Café Balzac, Georges has a remarkable yet lesser-known past. He played a crucial role in the French resistance during World War II, famously teaming up with mime Marcel Marceau, Philippe's godfather, to devise a clever ruse involving baguettes and mayonnaise that saved countless Jewish lives.
