Plot
Simon, a street vendor in New York's lower east side, sells bootleg cassette tapes from his makeshift corner shop, where the soundtrack is provided by a boombox. Surviving on vodka and peanut butter, he scavenges for food and sleeps on the floor, all while caring for a neglected cat. His life takes a turn when Marty, possibly an old flame, pays him a visit. Amidst the gritty backdrop of the city, Simon navigates his struggles and fleeting connections in a world that feels increasingly indifferent.
