Plot
Cleveland, 1973, finds Marv struggling to keep his beloved Jewish deli afloat, now open 24 hours to attract a diverse clientele. This shift angers the local do-gooders who want him shut down. Inside, a chaotic mix of hippies, bikers, and elderly patrons clash over territory, all while vying for the attention of a new waitress, Susan. Fresh from a small town, she navigates demanding customers, a complicated romance, and a jealous head waitress. As tensions rise, Marv resorts to increasingly desperate tactics to preserve his deli and the community it supports.
