Plot

Janie is passionate about dancing, performing wherever she can, even in a burlesque venue. Her talent catches the eye of wealthy playboy Tod Newton, who secures her a role in a Broadway musical helmed by the ambitious director, Patch. While Tod aims to win Janie's heart, Patch doubts her abilities, believing she relies on her looks to succeed. Meanwhile, Janie idolizes Patch. Steve, the stage manager, juggles the chaos of the showgirls with assistance from the Three Stooges. Notable cameos by Fred Astaire and Nelson Eddy add to the allure of this lively backstage tale.
