Plot
Surgeon Dr. Robert Knox, based in Edinburgh, is on a relentless quest for cadavers to advance his understanding of human anatomy. When he struggles to obtain the necessary bodies for his research, unscrupulous grave robbers William Burke and William Hare step in with a sinister solution. They resort to murder, supplying Knox with fresh corpses from the city’s underbelly. As their grim partnership unfolds, the lines between medical progress and moral decay blur, leading to chilling consequences that challenge the very essence of life and death.
