The Fire Fighters (1930)

Plot

Mickey and his fellow firefighters spring into action when the alarm rings. They slide down the neck of an ostrich, while a squealing cat, whose tail Mickey tugged, serves as their siren. The closest hydrant is malfunctioning, so Horace Horsecollar drinks from a nearby pond and uses that water to extinguish the flames. Meanwhile, Minnie is stuck on an upper level, prompting Mickey to scale the adjacent building's fire escape. He cleverly crosses over to Minnie's building using a clothesline to reach her.
