Plot
As World War II looms in Northern Australia, the threat of Japanese invasion prompts widespread evacuations and a devastating scorched earth strategy. Faced with the dilemma of slaughtering their cattle, a diverse band of locals chooses an audacious plan instead: to herd their livestock overland across the continent. Their journey begins in Wyndham, Western Australia, and winds through the rugged Northern Territory outback, ultimately leading to fertile pastures north of Brisbane, Queensland. The perilous trek tests their resolve and unity in the face of looming danger.
