Plot

Set in 1936 Russia, Colonel Kotov enjoys a serene summer retreat at his dacha with his young wife and daughter, Nadia. Their peaceful days are disrupted by the unexpected visit of Cousin Dmitri, whose charisma and musical talent quickly captivate the family. However, Kotov remains wary; he recognizes the shadows of Stalin's oppressive regime looming over their lives.
