Plot
After a perilous journey across the ocean and time spent in a Malaysian camp, Vietnamese refugee Tinh and her family finally find sanctuary in Canada, landing in Montreal. As they strive to build a new life, Tinh faces numerous challenges in adjusting to her new environment. The struggle between her past and the promise of a fresh start reveals the complexities of identity and belonging in a foreign land. The film poignantly captures the trials of starting over while highlighting the resilience of the human spirit.
