Plot

Following the devastating 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, filmmakers Komori Haruka and Seo Natsumi immerse themselves in the community of Rikuzentakata. Their documentary captures the journeys of four workshop participants as they explore the town, connecting with its residents and rich landscapes. As firsthand accounts of the disaster fade with time, this film serves as a vital link for new relationships and dialogue. Additionally, it features Seo's poignant narrative, "Double Layered Town," weaving together personal stories and collective resilience in the face of tragedy.
