Plot

Notorious outlaw Clay Anderson robs a bank with his gang, but when his horse goes lame, he seeks refuge at a nearby farm owned by preacher Hollis Jarret and his family. Disguising himself as a weary traveler, Clay hopes to hide out, but Hollis sees through his facade. Rather than turning him away, the reverend offers shelter, believing he can inspire Clay to change his ways through faith and patience. However, the deeper Hollis delves into Clay's psyche, the more he realizes the outlaw's criminal nature may be harder to transform than he anticipated.
