Drunkboat (2012)

Plot

After two decades of chaos and regrets, Mort Gleason is jolted back to reality when he witnesses his nephew Moo being assaulted in a drunken haze. This brief encounter with family compels him to return to his childhood home in Chicago, now occupied by his sister Eileen and her teenage son, Abe. Haunted by Moo's absence, Mort slowly reintegrates into family life over several weeks. Meanwhile, Abe dreams of adventure on the open sea and saves diligently for a sailboat he spots, devising a plan to purchase the Kathy II from two shady dealers operating a liquor business.
