Plot

In early 19th century Bulgaria, a relentless plague plunges a village into chaos and despair. Chorbaji Yurdan and his son Yono return from Hadzhilak only to find their community consumed by fear and starvation. As the Black Plague spreads, the villagers are compelled to face their most primal instincts and moral dilemmas.
