Aviva, My Love (2006)

Plot

Aviva, a dedicated cook in Tiberias, is on the verge of realizing her dream of becoming a writer. Hidden behind her culinary duties, her talent is unveiled when her sister, Anita, connects her with Oded, a successful novelist who recognizes her potential. As Oded mentors her, Aviva's pursuit of literary success begins to unravel her personal life, straining relationships with her unemployed husband, troubled children, and unstable mother. The dynamic with Anita, a humorous yet sensitive soul chasing her own aspirations, further complicates matters. When Aviva learns of Oded's ulterior motives, her aspirations come crashing down.
