Plot

Hopalong Cassidy, the leader of Texas's Bar 20 ranch, gallops through New Mexico's cattle territory after receiving a distress signal from his beloved Nora Blake. As he and his loyal companions, "Lucky" Jenkins and "Pappy," head to her ranch, they encounter Clay Allison, a ruthless cattle rustler seeking to seize Nora's livestock and drive her away. Viewing Cassidy as a threat, Allison has him falsely imprisoned. The trio escapes and rushes to Nora's aid, only to discover that Allison's thugs have already killed her foreman, Tom Dillon, and he is calling for a gang of outlaws from the Texas border.
