Aragami (2003)

Plot

During a fierce storm, two gravely injured samurai seek shelter in a remote temple, inhabited by a skilled swordsman and an enigmatic young woman. Upon regaining consciousness, one samurai learns that his companion has perished and his own injuries have inexplicably vanished. He soon realizes that the legendary Miyamoto Musashi, now known as Aragami, has granted him the gift of immortality. As a "god of battle," Musashi's eternal life comes with profound consequences, leading the samurai to grapple with his newfound existence.
