Plot

Amid the tumult of the 1973 Wounded Knee occupation, activists Marvin and Bud "One Bull" find themselves imprisoned, grappling with personal and political turmoil. Bud's fierce resistance to his captors contrasts sharply with Marvin's grief over his late wife, Anna Ward, who perished in a car accident. Assigned to their defense, young lawyer Claire Chapman uncovers a web of conspiracy connecting their case to powerful government and corporate interests. As the trio navigates their precarious situation, unexpected visitors—including a Nixon Administration advisor, a sitting senator, and a Hollywood star—raise questions about Anna's hidden secrets and the activists' knowledge.
