Plot
A runaway retrovirus originally designed for genetic engineering wreaks havoc on Earth's ecosystem, indiscriminately merging species and causing horrific mutations in humans. As a result, 90% of the population either perishes or transforms beyond recognition within a week. A small group of immune survivors, including Tom Cellar, seeks refuge at an abandoned military base in the Eifel. Together, they attempt to adapt and forge a new existence in this altered world. However, the evolving genetically modified organisms threaten their safety, pushing the survivors to confront a reality where their defenses may soon fail.
