Plot

Conflicted teenager Rick finds himself at odds with his parents when he starts unconventional guitar lessons with the eccentric Hampton. Frustrated by Hampton’s offbeat teaching methods, Rick’s parents push him toward military school. As he navigates his turbulent home life, he encounters the guitarist from the country band "Ramble Dove," leading to a series of strange and enlightening experiences. Through these interactions, Rick grapples with his identity and the pressures surrounding his future, ultimately discovering his passion for music amidst the chaos.
