Plot
Clint Belmet, portrayed by Gary Cooper, finds himself in hot water after being sentenced to a month in jail. However, his friends Bill Jackson and Jim Bridger hatch a clever plan, persuading a compassionate Frenchwoman named Felice to convince the inept marshal that Clint tied the knot with her the night before. With this ruse successful, Clint is freed and joins Felice on a wagon train journeying westward to California, setting the stage for adventure and unexpected challenges along the way.
