Plot
Set in the 1970s in Kunchon, two best friends, Choon-ja and Jin-sook, along with Jin-sook's brother Hammer, are skilled women divers who gather seafood to survive. As factories near the beach dwindle, their livelihoods are threatened. Desperate for income, the local ship crews turn to smuggling, disrupting the once-peaceful community. The burgeoning smuggling operation spirals out of control, straining Jin-sook's family and transforming their idyllic village into a battleground of desperation and conflict. Tensions mount as the friends must navigate the dangerous waters of crime and loyalty.
