Plot

Escaping a sinister backwoods cult, a woman seeks redemption by working at a facility for adults with special needs. Her hope for a fresh start quickly unravels when she encounters a young girl with Down syndrome who needs her help. As she grapples with haunting memories from her past, the woman's resolve is tested. To protect the innocent child, she must confront the demons that have long shadowed her life, forcing her to confront the very darkness she thought she had left behind.
