Plot

Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski, a medical doctor and Ph.D. biochemist, takes center stage in a captivating legal saga against the Food & Drug Administration. His groundbreaking research on gene-targeted cancer treatments, known as Antineoplastons, began in the 1970s and led to a lengthy battle with the U.S. government. The documentary chronicles Burzynski's triumphs as he navigates the complexities of the legal system while pushing for the approval of his innovative therapies. By 2009, these treatments had successfully completed Phase II clinical trials, and he aimed to secure funding for the final phase of testing, estimated at $300 million.
