Plot

Facing a tumultuous marriage, Fiorenza, a young woman from a Roman bourgeois family, journeys to Eritrea to see her ailing father, a former colonizer who amassed his wealth there. Following his death, she chooses to remain in this foreign land instead of returning to Italy. While exploring her new surroundings, she crosses paths with the flamboyant Getulio, who is eager to introduce her to the vibrant essence of Africa. Their connection deepens as Fiorenza navigates her personal crisis amidst the backdrop of a culture that challenges her perspective on life.
