Plot

After being uprooted to a new school due to her mother’s rehab stint, a high school junior finds herself at odds with the local mean girl. To help her settle in, her aunt and uncle plan a sweet sixteen celebration, but the envious queen bee has sinister intentions that escalate to murder. As tensions rise, the teen's mother must confront her past mistakes and reclaim her role in her daughter’s life, striving to mend their fractured bond while thwarting the malevolent schemes threatening the party.
