Plot

Nicu, a homeless youth, finds a new life when the infamous 'Bruce Lee' takes him in, raising him within Bucharest’s underground tunnels. As he matures, Nicu grapples with the realization that this self-proclaimed 'King of the Underworld' might not embody the paternal figure he craves. Captured over five years by photographer Joost Vandebrug, this gripping documentary presents a modern-day Oliver Twist narrative, exploring themes of belonging and the search for true family amidst the shadows of urban life.
