Plot

Emma, a determined professor, travels to the quaint town of Voghera in Northern Italy to delve into the chilling tale of Shanda, a witch executed in the early 1800s by the river that bears her name. What begins as an academic pursuit quickly turns nightmarish as Emma becomes ensnared in a malevolent spell. Cursed to relive the same day repeatedly, she faces a gruesome fate each time, only to awaken and confront the horrors anew. The film pays homage to the eerie Italian horror classics of the 70s and 80s, weaving a gripping tale of supernatural intrigue and relentless dread.
