Plot
Peter Gifford, a passionate schoolteacher, leads a senior life skills class where discussions about sex and dating arise, sparked by student Janet Sommers. Encouraging open dialogue, he invites his students to submit questions for discussion. However, when parents catch wind of this plan, they alert the principal, who warns Gifford to refrain from addressing these topics. Choosing to stand by his principles, Gifford defies the order and faces suspension, igniting a student-led protest that leaves the administration scrambling to respond to the mounting tension and demand for open conversation.
