Plot
Reese Holden, an actress in need of money, is tasked by a book editor with finding her late mother’s love letters from her estranged father, a reclusive novelist. Returning to Michigan, Reese discovers her father has taken in an ex-grad student and an aspiring musician, who seem to have captured more of his attention than his own health. As she navigates this unexpected household dynamic, Reese must confront her family's past and the emotional distance that has long separated them.
