Plot
After spending twelve years behind bars, Walter reintegrates into society, only to discover that his family has turned their backs on him, with the exception of his brother-in-law. Few are aware of his past as a sex offender and pedophile. He secures an apartment and faces regular check-ins from his parole officer. Walter finds employment at a lumber mill and begins a romantic relationship with a colleague. However, his fragile new life starts to crumble as his history comes to light. In a troubling turn, he forms a risky bond with a young girl while noticing a predatory man lurking near a schoolyard.
