Plot
Photographer Peter Mitchell discovers he has inherited a grand estate in Sweden from an unknown relative, Annie Holst. Accompanied by his girlfriend Sarah and her deaf son Dennis, they travel to evaluate their options—either to keep the property or sell it. Upon arrival, they encounter a cold reception from locals whenever Annie is mentioned. Unraveling the past reveals a tragic history involving Annie's lost son at a nearby orphanage. As Dennis connects with an unseen friend, Peter races against time to uncover the mystery of the orphans’ deaths to protect his family from a similar fate.
