Smoking Room (2002)

Plot

At a Spanish subsidiary of a U.S. firm, a new smoking ban forces employees to take their breaks outside. Frustrated by this imposition, Ramirez, a discontented staff member in a predominantly male office, rallies his colleagues to sign a petition against the policy. His ultimate goal is to convert an unused office into a designated smoking room, allowing his peers a comfortable space to indulge in their habit without venturing outdoors. As tensions rise, the office dynamics shift, revealing deeper conflicts over personal freedom and corporate control.
