Blue Cat Blues (1956)

Plot

In a voiceover, Jerry reveals that Tom is head over heels for the neighboring cat, but he's in a fierce rivalry with the wealthy cat Butch for her love. Butch constantly one-ups Tom with extravagant gifts, leaving Tom feeling defeated. As his spirits plummet, Tom finds himself in a dark place, seriously considering giving up on everything.
