Plot

In 2018 Guatemala, the nation is captivated by the trial of military leaders responsible for igniting a brutal civil war. As harrowing testimonies from victims emerge, Ernesto, a young anthropologist at the Forensic Foundation, dedicates himself to uncovering the fates of the disappeared. His quest takes a pivotal turn when an elderly woman's account sparks hope that he might finally uncover the truth about his father, a guerilla fighter lost during the conflict. As he navigates this emotional journey, Ernesto confronts both personal and national history in his search for closure.
