Their First Mistake (1932)

Plot

Frustrated with Oliver's constant companionship with Stanley, Mrs. Hardy confronts her husband, threatening to leave if he spends another night with his friend. In a misguided attempt to win her back, Stanley convinces Ollie to adopt a baby. However, upon returning home, Ollie finds that Mrs. Hardy has left, serving him divorce papers that name Stan as the co-respondent. Left to navigate parenthood alone, the two friends must now juggle the demands of caring for a child while dealing with the fallout of their meddling.
