Plot

Set against the bizarre backdrop of Joshua Tree, California, Serpentine Pink is a striking and surreal independent film that explores the complex ways hearts mend from trauma. Drawing inspiration from the Grand Guignol horror theater of France, it employs both visual and verbal poetry to reflect the Mojave's uncanny beauty. The story centers on a reclusive biker and her exotic dancer lover, who is obsessed with John Wayne, as they grapple with the fallout of a brutal acid attack. They are joined by an ethereal psychic and her aspiring healer friend, who strive to confront and heal their own deep-seated pain while breaking the cycle of possessive love.
