Block-Heads (1938)

Plot

Set against the backdrop of 1938, Stan remains blissfully unaware that World War I has concluded, continuing his patrol in the trenches of France. In a comical turn of events, he mistakenly shoots down a French aviator. Meanwhile, Oliver stumbles upon a newspaper photo of his old friend, prompting him to track Stan down. Now back in the States, Stan is welcomed by Oliver, who invites him to stay at his home, leading to a series of humorous misadventures as they navigate the realities of life post-war.
