A Monster in Paris (2011)

Plot

Set in 1910 Paris, a timid projectionist named Emile pairs up with the flamboyant inventor Raoul to track down a creature causing panic among the townsfolk. Their quest leads them to Lucille, the warm-hearted star of the Bird of Paradise cabaret, along with an eccentric scientist and his feisty monkey. Together, they uncover that the so-called monster is a gentle giant flea. Their mission transforms into a race against the city's power-hungry police chief, determined to capture the misunderstood creature. Friendship and adventure unfold as they fight for the flea’s freedom.
