Plot
Dr. Matthew Clark oversees a state-run facility for children with intellectual disabilities, where Jean Hansen, an ex-music teacher seeking purpose, begins working. While Jean pours her affection into nurturing the children, she grows wary of Dr. Clark's rigid disciplinary techniques. Her compassion deepens as she forms a bond with 12-year-old Reuben Widdicombe, a boy grappling with the pain of rejection from his divorced parents.
