Plot

Benny Silman, a diligent and well-mannered kid from Brooklyn, heads to Arizona State University, drawn by the sun, attractive peers, and the allure of nearby Las Vegas. A gifted mathematician, he excels academically but soon finds himself entangled in the world of sports betting. Initially working for bookie Troy, who profits off Benny's talents, Benny eventually decides to go solo. As he recruits fellow students as his betting agents, he transforms his small operation into a lucrative empire, raking in profits that far exceed his initial earnings.
