Will It Snow for Christmas? (1996)

Plot

In the heart of Southern France, a devoted mother struggles to raise her seven children on a modest farm. Although their lives could be filled with joy, they are constantly weighed down by the oppressive presence of the farm's owner—a self-centered and tyrannical man who also happens to be the mother’s partner and the father of the children. He treats them as mere possessions, exploiting their labor in the fields and forbidding their escape. The only thing keeping them going is the mother's unwavering love for her kids, but even she is beginning to feel the burden of despair.
