Over 100,000 Mexicans are deported from the U.S. annually, often leaving behind families and lives built over decades. Many find themselves unable to communicate in their native language, uprooted and thrust into the harsh realities of Tijuana, a border town symbolizing the divide between two worlds. Rocio, Richard, and Sergio represent the countless individuals grappling with the aftermath of their deportation. Their journey unfolds over nearly a year, highlighting their efforts to navigate new challenges and reconstruct their lives amid the dislocation and uncertainty that accompany their return.
