Monster Beach (2014)

Plot

Jan and her brother Dean expect a carefree summer when sent to stay with their unconventional uncle, Woody, on a remote island. Initially, the idyllic setting seems perfect with serene beaches and perfect waves, but odd noises and a jungle-choked town soon raise questions. The shocking truth emerges: the locals are actually surf-obsessed monsters, initially hostile to newcomers. However, when a greedy developer threatens their paradise, the siblings and their newfound friends must unite, setting aside differences to protect their unique home from destruction. Adventure and camaraderie unfold in this unexpected summer escapade.
