La Cenerentola (1981)

Plot

Prince Don Ramiro, having swapped places with his servant Dandini, encounters Cenerentola and feels an immediate spark. Later, Alidoro the Philosopher brings Cenerentola to the palace in stunning attire. Dandini, still pretending to be the prince, attempts to charm her with talk of love, but she firmly rejects him, confessing her affection for his 'valet.' Ramiro, who overhears this, is ecstatic and quickly proposes. However, Cenerentola insists he must search for her first, promising to marry him if his feelings remain. She gifts him one of her matching bracelets, asking him to find its twin on her. As she departs, Ramiro unmasks the ruse, and he and Dandini assume their real roles. Unbeknownst to Ramiro, a fierce thunderstorm is about to intervene in his quest.
