On Easter Island, the Rapanui people struggle to stop their home from crumbling under the weight of mass tourism and unchecked development. As resorts and factories multiply, the island’s fragile environment edges toward disaster. Determined to protect their ancestral way of life, the community rallies to defend sacred sites, revive fading customs, and push back against forces that threaten to erase their identity.
