Liborio (2021)

Plot

Liborio, a humble peasant, vanishes during a hurricane and reemerges claiming prophetic abilities. He believes he’s been chosen to eradicate evil and heal the sick, inspiring a community to gather around him. Seeking total freedom, they relocate to the mountains to build a utopian society. However, their peaceful existence is threatened by the encroachment of US Marines, determined to dismantle their community. While Liborio hopes to evade conflict, the reality looms that they cannot escape forever, forcing him to confront the impending clash between his followers and the military.
