Plot
An Indian prince embarks on a transformative journey, forsaking his lavish life in search of spiritual truth. Siddartha (Cojoin Hong) rejects the oppressive old ways, dismayed by the suffering around him and the barbaric rituals that persist. During six years of meditation, he confronts temptations from seductive dancers, sinister demons, and the treachery of his cousin. Driven by a quest for enlightenment, he achieves spiritual perfection and becomes the Buddha. His message of compassion soon resonates widely, especially after he saves a priest from a rampaging elephant, drawing numerous followers to his teachings.
