Plot

Escaping her violent ex, Jess enlists the help of a fishing boat captain to cross Lake Superior and start anew in Canada. However, an unforeseen accident strands her on the shores of a remote lighthouse. Rescued by the enigmatic keeper, she finds herself recuperating under his care. Yet, as she begins to recover, Jess uncovers unsettling truths about her host, discovering that her sanctuary may be more perilous than the life she fled. Tension escalates as she navigates the fraught dynamics of survival and trust, leaving her to question whether she has truly escaped danger or inadvertently walked into a darker situation.
